Diagnosis of Managerial Competencies and Organizational Sustainability in Popular and Solidarity Economy Organizations: Economic Integration Network of La Concordia Butchers
Synopsis
This chapter examines the administrative competencies of managers in Popular and Solidarity Economy Organizations (OEPS) and analyzes their relationship to organizational sustainability. The study is conducted within the framework of the La Concordia Slaughterhouses Economic Integration Network (REDFAECON). It addresses the theoretical context of managerial competencies, the principles of the popular and solidarity economy, and the dimensions of organizational sustainability. Using a mixed-methods approach—quantitative and qualitative—applied to 112 participants, the chapter outlines the research design, the diagnostic instruments used, the analysis of the results obtained, and the findings regarding strengths and gaps in managerial practices. The research aims to strengthen the administrative capacity of OEPS as a key factor for their permanence and sustainable development.
