Determining Internal Factors in the Organizational Sustainability of the Antorcha Savings and Credit Cooperative in Quinindé
Synopsis
This research project focuses on analyzing the internal factors that influence the success and failure of the Antorcha Savings and Credit Cooperative Ltda., located in the Quinindé canton, during the period 2023–2024. The identified problem lies in deficiencies in administrative management, the lack of strategic leadership, and limited staff training, factors that compromise the financial stability and competitiveness of the organization in the Popular and Solidarity Economy (PSE) sector. The applied methodology has a mixed approach (qualitative-quantitative) with descriptive and analytical scope, using techniques such as interviews with managers and surveys applied to a sample of 10 people, including employees and members. Preliminary results indicate that the lack of a solid organizational structure and inefficient communication channels are the main barriers to institutional growth. It is concluded that it is imperative to implement a plan to improve human talent management and administrative processes to guarantee the long-term sustainability of the cooperative.
